Obituary for Tracy J. Williams

Tracy J. Williams was born on November 27, 1965, to Sharon Blake and the late Benjamin Blake. Tracy was immersed with love growing up in Franklin Field Apartments. After ten years Benjamin & Sharon bought a home, not too far from Franklin Field. Tracy sure found her way back to the projects to chill and play with some of the same people who showed up for her, her entire life. Tracy graduated from Cathedral High School and the University of Massachusetts Boston with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education. Tracy worked in a number of schools including St. Matthews, St. Patricks, Cathedral High School (Cheerleading Coach), and ABCD Head Start.

Tracy was blessed and created a loving family with her best friend and high school sweetheart Willie Willams. Tracy and Willie married on October 9, 1999, and had four children Keith, Rob, Joya, and the late Willie “Bill”. She taught her kids that if you really want something you have to work for it. She also often reminded her children that life was not fair and we would have to be strong if we wanted to rise above it. Tracy’s four children were her life and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for them. She volunteered at St. Matthew’s School so her children could have a private school education for free. Tracy sat in the rain, snow, and freezing cold to watch her son’s football games and her daughter’s cheerleading games. She even bought a camera to record her son’s football games for them to make highlight tapes to help them get recruited by colleges.

Tracy was a nurturing mother to all and an educator at heart, not only doing whatever she had to for her kids but all kids she had a relationship with. A fun and loving energy and she will be truly missed.

Tracy is survived by her Mom, Sharon Blake, her husband Willie Willams; her children Keith, Rob, and Joya Williams; her grandchildren Josiah Williams, Tru Willams, Blake Mcbynum, Saraï Williams; her nephew Chris Blake; her brother Bruce Blake and his wife Charleene, and her brother Benjamin Blake, Jr.; her god daughters Vashti Gladden and LaTrese Kohlman. The mothers of her grandkids Shari Begnor and Aishah Lambert; childhood friend Weenie. She is preceded in death by her father Benjamin Blake; her son Wille “Bill” Williams III; her brother Warren Chris Blake.
