Rebecca Jinwright, 81, of Boston, entered eternal rest on July 28, 2022. She was born in Brunswick County (Winnabow), North Carolina on April 29, 1941, a daughter of the late Wheeler Garvin, Sr. and Dorothy Garvin.
She relocated to Boston, MA, where she married the late Deacon George E. Jinwright. She was a loving mother of Lenny Jinwright and grandmother to Alonzo Jinwright. She was a longtime member of the Blue Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Mattapan, MA, where she served as Deaconess.
She leaves to cherish loving memories, a son, Lenny Jinwright; grandson; Alonzo Jinwright; sisters, Odell Bellamy of New Haven, CT, Dorothy King of Virginia Beach, VA, and Maggie Gaylor (Rev. James Gaylor) of Boston, MA; a brother, Wheeler Garvin, Jr. (Delores) of Winnabow, NC.
She was predeceased by sisters, Catherine Mayes, Jaqueline Talbot, and Ada Garvin; and brothers, Willie Frank Garvin and Rev. John Henry Garvin.
