Obituary for Neville Dhoray
Neville Dhoray, 80 of Boston Massachusetts passed away on December 11, 2022. He was born to the late Elizabeth “Williams” Dohray and Surpusarde Dhoray in Kington, Jamaica on December 23, 1941.
He arrived in Massachusetts in 1980 and lived in Somerville while working as a Diesel Mechanic in Roxbury before getting hurt on the job. After suffering a minor stroke he moved in with his niece Michelle “Shelly” Macko, who has been his caretaker for the past 30 years.
Depending on your relationship with Neville you were greeted with a smile, a “Who are you?”, a blank stare, some type of snack or gift or you weren’t greeted at all because he was scratching his scratch tickets, reading his bible or saying prayer.
Neville is survived by his brother, Samuel “Harry” Dhoray, Hugh Reid, his sister Brenda Reid, an abundance of nieces and nephews, great/great great nieces and nephews and cosuins.
Uncle Neville, you were the most sweetest generous, content, grumpy old man ever and you will be greatly missed.
