Obituary for Mark Augustus Reddick

Mark Augustus Reddick 50 departed this earthly life on Friday, December 23, 2022, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. He was born to Ann E. Reddick and to the late Augustus Mack Reddick on September 14, 1972. Mark was a dedicated husband, loving father, grandfather and a friend to everyone he met.

Mark graduated from English High School and attended Northeastern University

Mark always had a talent for working with his hands. His love for fixing things led him to working and learning how to fix cars from his late uncle Larry. For years Mark apprenticed and worked at the Grove Hall Auto Shop. He eventually went on to take over the Grove Hall Auto shop and changed its name to OMG Auto. One of the things Mark prided himself on was owning a business and teaching his sons how to work on cars. He was passionate about passing down knowledge and working alongside his family.

Mark was preceded in death by his brother Eric Jones, and sister Suncear Reddick. In 1991 he married Irma N. Medina. He leaves behind to mourn his 3 children. Mark A. Reddick Jr. (Iris), Elijah A. Reddick (Ashley) Melissa R. Reddick as well as his 3 grandchildren Mark Reddick III (grandson), Mia Reddick (granddaughter) and Catalina A. Reddick (granddaughter) all from Chelsea, MA. One brother Mack Augustus Reddick of Greenville, NC, two sisters Erica Reddick-George (Darryl) of Augusta, GA and Amanda S. Reddick of Greenville, NC. two nephews and three nieces. Father-in-law Jose R. Medina, Mother-in-law Maria G. De Leon, two sister-in- laws Johanna Medina (Jamie) Jackie Medina (Jorge) and brother-in- law (Roberto Medina (Jackie O) two nephews and two nieces.
