Marie Yolande Joseph. Of Caracol, Cap -Haitien, bid farewell to this world on the evening of Wednesday, October 19th,2022, at Presentation Rehabilitation Center in Brighton, Massachusetts. She was 81 years old.

Marie was born on August 29th, 1941, the only daughter of Dantes Joseph and Augusta Joseph In 1978, she moved from Cap Haitien to Port -au-Prince, Haiti, where she worked as an elementary school teacher. In 1996, she emigrated to the United States to be reunited with her family.

Throughout her life, Marie was deeply immersed in the Christian community, which provided her with emotional and spiritual support. She will be remembered for living a life anchored in Faith and Prayers, and for dedicating much of her life to caring for and serving others. Her lifelong philosophy was relatively simple. To live in a manner that always reflected the love of Christ for others.

Marie’s favorite worship songs were # 38 (Abandonne Ta Vie) and # 278 ( Me Voici Devant Ta Face) from the French Seventh-Day Adventist Hymnal. As a servant of the Lord, she held on dearly and faithfully to the words of the Bible. Her favorite scripture was 2 Timothy 4: 7&8 . I Have fought a good fight, i have finished the race, i have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award me on that day- and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing”.

Her acts of kindness and generosity, her memory, and her legacy will live on and be carried forward by her children, Ketsia Remy and Davidson Remy; her in laws Winston Benoit and Stephanie L.Remy; and her grandchildren, Olivia, Sebastian, Dathanie, Myles and Ameerah.
