Obituary for John Edward Herring

John Herring was born in Boston to the late Irene E. Herring and John E. Herring on October 4, 1969 he was blessed with 8 children: John E. Herring, Jr., Deshawn J. Cross, Donte J. Cross, Treazzure Harris, Johan M. Herring and Shaniya Kirk and the late Breanna Christophe and Johnmain Herring.

He grew up in Roslindale where he attended the Higgason Elementary and the Lewis Middle School follow by JP High School (English High) where he graduated. He worked as an auto mechanic before he started his career as a barber. He loved cars, music, brak dancing, cooking and enjoyed fishing.

John also loved to travel and spend time with his family. John favorite color was blue and he loved himself some Dallas Cowboys. John was well known and had many friends most of them he grew up with and some he recently met over the years. John was someone who always helped when called on and you could confied in as well. He loved watching his favorite tv show hells kitchen, his favorite move was the Longest Yard.

John loved to joke around and talk rash and say things like weavey wounder or give the horses back their hair, no matter what he was always close with his sister Nichole Herring (Nikkie) and his brother Leroy Lagrant (NuNu).

Koolu, as everyone knew him, was the second oldest of four children, Leroy Lagrant, Nichole Herring and his late sister Tonya M. Herring. John will be reunited with his late grandmother Roslie Lagrant, his uncles, William Lagrant, Steven Lagrant and Dion Mitchell.

John leaves to grieve his siblings: Leroy Lagrantand Nichole Herring, his children and his girlfriend Tannay, his uncles, Tyrone Mitchell, Melvin Herring his aunts: Yvonne Innis and Roslie Mitchell, Lauretha Williams, Patricia Herring, Ellen Battle and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
