Obituary for Fritzner Tiblanc

Fritzner Tiblanc, of Everett, MA, died unexpectedly on November 2, 2023. He was only 73 years young. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. Fritzner was born on April 8, 1950 in Petite Goave, Haiti. The son of Delome Tiblanc (deceased) and Charite Cesar Tiblanc (deceased) and one of five siblings. In Haiti, he worked for the sugar cane company and also as a gravity artist. With a love for cars and fitness in Haiti, Fritzner was best known for his skills on the soccer field; he had dreams of playing in the World Cup. In 1977, Fritzner married his bride, Marie Andree Bien-Aime. The two would go on to have four children James, Johnny, Ralph, and Hudson Tiblanc.

In 1982, Fritzner migrated to Boston, MA to join his wife Marie-Andree to start a life for their family. In 1982, Fritzner joined the Boston Church of God where he was a faithful member for 41 years. Fritzner was a Kitchen and Meal Coordinator for the city of Cambridge up until the age of retirement. He poured his heart and soul into cooking which showed to those that tasted his food.

Fritzner spent much of his free time when he’s not watching tv expressing his love/hate relationship for his favorite sports team by attending sporting events, church, calling into radio stations debating politics, going for walks to make new friends, and sitting by the house phone calling to check on family members. Everyone who knew him knew how special he was. Fritzner would light up a room with his smile. With his raspy voice, he would greet you with “Hey, my love” or “My Man!”. He always put family first and loved to lift up people's spirits with his jokes: character traits that standout after even just a single meeting with him.

In 1986 Fritzner, started his first battle with cancer. In 2005 Fritzner received a second diagnosis of cancer where he overcame all obstacles and continued the fight until the time of his passing.

Fritzner is survived by his wife, Marie-Andree, his children, Gregory, James, Johnny, Sherley, Ralph, Hudson, Cindy; grandchildren, Alicia, Laniya, Theophil, Lamar, Sevyn, Sera, Johnley, Anahesha, Isaac. His siblings; Fortune Tiblanc, Mrs. Chrislene Casimir, Gilbert Tiblanc, and Rock Tiblanc, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, many nieces and nephews, many god-sons and god-daughters, and an abundance of friends, spiritual sons and daughters. He will forever be loved.
