On September 20, 2023, Eunice Daley was called home to glory. She was born in St, John’s Montserrat (British West Indies) on October 6, 1934, to James Thomas Wade and Mary Lucinda Wade (both deceased). She attended and graduated from Cavalla Hill School.
In 1956, Eunice migrated to London, England and worked for several years in the Hospitality Industry. In 1959, Eunice then immigrated to the United States to reside in the Boston area and settled in Dorchester. In 1961 she married George Daley but later divorced. In their time together she gave birth to her only son Sylvester Daley.
For many years, Eunice sold Avon and was a devoted mother and home maker. She was a loving person and cared deeply for her family members. Whatever she had, she was always willing to help others in their time of need.
Eunice is survived by her son Sylvester Daley; daughter-in-law Theresa Daley, her grandson Justin Daley and his wife Carolyn Daley; her three great grandchildren Preston, Jaxon and Amaya; her two sisters Mary Carty and Bernice Weekes; her brother-in-law James Weekes; her first cousin Thomas Sweeney and his wife Vera Sweeney; and a whole host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and many friends. She will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.
We love you, sleep in eternal peace.
