Obituary for Erick Jean

Erick “Pew” Jean was born to Edmond Jean and Francoise Pierre Jean in Port-au-Prince, Haiti on February 9, 1951.

Erick came into the states in the 1970’s for a better way of life. Erick, being a hard worker and an independent handyman, was able to make his way doing various jobs in the carpentry industry, landing a job as a maintenance man in housing for over 20 years.

In this position Erick made friends in the community. Those who knew “Pew” will remember a man full of life. Erick was young at heart and was able to befriend anyone, anywhere. Pew spent most of his time sharing good times and laughter with family and friends.
A simple man, but a man of discipline and strong beliefs. On January 4, 2022 Erick “Pew” Jean Passed away due to heart failure.

Erick was preceded in death by his parents Edmond and Francoise Jean and his brothers Franzy and Fritzner Jean.

Erick is survived by his daughters Wichmide Jean, Ericka Jean , grandson, sister Ygenise Jean, nephews, Jerry Jacques, Kenneth Jacques, Andrew Jean, Roodley Jean, Fritznel Jean, Renel Jean, Patrick Jean his nieces, Mashasiah Jean, Widnie Jean, Danaise Jean, Lauviah Jean, Edner Jean, Lavinsky Jean, Layla Jean, Hadassah Jean and many cousins and very close friends who have become family.
