Obituary for Emily Amelia Jules

Life is a journey and for Emily Amelia Jules it started on May 18, 1936 in Mollyneaux Village Montserrat in the Caribbean. Her early education was in Montserrat public schools. After school, Emily entered into the seamstress apprenticeship program where she finished the program as a seamstress.

Emily migrated to London England in 1958 and was employed by Berkeley Perfumery Co. Ltd. She worked in the packaging and light process departments from March of 1958 until 1960 when she migrated to Boston Massachusetts.

In Boston she worked for Polaroid Company before joining Raytheon Company in 1972 until her retirement in 1995. She retired as a program supervisor.

Emily was a member of Montserrat Progressive Society of Boston. She was active in the organization activities and it’s yearend annual fundraiser.

Emily was married to Edney Jules (deceased). She was instrumental n the raising of her children and grandchildren. Emily leaves to mourn her children Mary Menzies, Joseph (Thomas) Menzies, Patricia Jules and Donna Jules. Additionally she leaves to mourn her grandchildren Chauntay and Monique Mclean in Boston.

Others that mourn her lost are special friends includes but not limited to Albertha Herbert and family, Jane and George Greer, Irene Isles and family, former Raytheon co-worker and family member William Greenaway Alfred Mollyneaux and members of Montserrat Progressive Society of Boston members.

Special thanks to the members and staff of Sherrill House who provided care for Emily. Also special thanks to Marian Yarde, Clyde Yarde and Rev. Michael J. Godderz.

Emily attended All Saints church in Ashmont, Boston Massachusetts, where she worshipped until her passing. She was involved in various church fundraising activities including “Caribbean Night”, and the Girls Camp Summer Program.
