Darren Parker was born May 28, 1968 to the late Richard Parker and Nellene Parker-Chisholm in Boston, MA. He departed this life on April 17, 2023 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA.
Darren was educated in the Boston Public Schools and graduated from Farr Academy in Cambridge, MA. He continued his studies and graduated from the New England Center for Arts and Technology (NECAT) in Boston, where he learned all his culinary skills. He also attended UMass Boston for professional development with advanced standing.
He enjoyed bike riding, music and cooking healthy foods. He believed in God; gave his life to Jesus Christ years ago, and joined St Paul’s Church in Cambridge, MA.
He was proceeded in death by his grandmother,Earlene Core; grandfather, Booker T. Core, Sr., step-grandfather, Ben J. Scott; and uncle, Booker T. Core, Jr..
He leaves to mourn: his mother, Nellene Parker-Chisholm of Boston, MA and her friend, Roy Stone; his three sisters: Leslie Mcfaddden (Rainey) of Brockton; Regina Raji (Laken) of Phoenix, Arizona; and Michelle Core of Boston, MA; one brother, Richard Parker, Jr. of Weymouth; one son, Paulos Meles Parker of Webster, MA; and a daughter, Darianna Nellene Parker of Weymouth, MA; along with a host of family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
