Obituary for Alexander Spears Jr.

Alexander Spears Jr. was born on May 11, 1959 to the union of Alexander and Barbara Spears, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The later moved to Boston, Massachusetts where they now reside.

Alexander attended and graduated from the Boston English High School. He later gave his live to Christ and joined the Zion Temple Holy Church under the late Bishop Paul L. McKoy Sr. and Elder Annie McKoy.

Alexander aka: Junior, Pumper-nickel, Teddy bear loved to do word search puzzles, play his pocket games, watch animal channel and old movies. He also like to play the base guitar at church. His hobby was photography in which he loved doing. He was a very fun and loving, caring person who would help anyone he could, but most of all he loved so spend time with family.

He left church, but later rededicated his life and membership on December 21, 2021 under the leadership of Bishop Paul McKoy Jr.

Alexander departed this life on Tuesday May 10, 2022 at the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital. He was preceded in death by his youngest son Keyma (fish) Cannon.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, parents Alexander and Barbara Spears both of Boston, MA., 2 sisters: Barbara Cumberbatch of Boston, MA: Louella Holcombe (Jeffrey) of Avon, MA: 1 brother: Curtis Spears (Jacqueline) of Randolph, MA:, Mother of his children: Charlene Cannon of Everett, MA: 4 Children: Kenya, Hameed, Keyma (deceased) and Sarah, 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grand Children, a special niece/caretaker Latoya Spears and 2 good friends, Warren Saul and Roosevelt Johnson and a host of other relatives and friends.
